i'd be a bit down about yarmolenko if we're selling stones for a measly £35m to be honest. well below my evaluation of him. teams are going to come back in for him in the future and they will do so with bigger offers, our club needs to be patient if they're hell bent on selling him.

I've been adamant for a while that he won't leave this summer. Still can't see it, the only thing that worries is how bad Chelsea's defence is looking. If we are in for Yarmi then I don't think it's dependent on Stones leaving, however I do think that would be most of our budget.

In terms of ability, I'm right there with everyone else on Yarmolenko. He'd help.

But does anyone else think he isn't quite the best fit? I would think someone like the Dowell we saw versus Dundee (only ready for this level) would be a better fit -- someone whose game is about one-touch passes and setting up teammates.

We have plenty of players who are capable of running with the ball and getting off a shot, but we don't have very many players capable of springing teammates for better chances.
