Transfer Window Thread

Looks like it is VVD Saints are truly after:

"We need a fourth centre half in, we are working on it and we need time," he told BBC Radio Solent.

"I still believe we will get one before the transfer window shuts. Sometimes you have to wait to get the best one because clubs are competing in Europe."

Here's an article on what he was saying above btw.

http://sport.bigmir.net/football/england/1727007-Everton-gotov-uvelichit--predlozhenie-po-Jarmolenko

Earlier it was reported that Everton is willing to offer for Ukrainian EUR 15 million, and now the leadership has Butterscotch assesses the potential transfer Yarmolenko 15 million pounds (21 million euros). It is reported Talksport.

British media also discussed the visit to Liverpool famous Ukrainian Vadim Chablis agent who allegedly authorized to negotiate with Everton on behalf of the player.

However, there are doubts that the president of Dynamo Igor Surkis will offer Everton, because previously he had refused to Stoke City, promising to release Yarmolenko only top club.

We add that the mentor Dynamo Sergei Rebrov announced readiness to release Yarmolenko. Also, it has repeatedly declared the capital club president Igor Surkis.

At the same time, give in Yarmolenko Stoke even for big money Surkis considers wrong.

Note that the football player would like to try his hand in the Premier League, but at the same time Yarmolenko is not offended by Igor Surkis president for failing to sell the player.

Colleague in work from Ukraine (Dynamo supporter) reckons we'll get him. The Dynamo fan sites and reporters close to the club reckon it's happening. The stumbling block is apparently the club president. Rebrov is happy to let Yarmolenko go but the club president refused the Stoke deal as he didn't want to sell to a 'small club' just for the sake of money. Apparently he wants Yarmolenko to go to a club where he can 'reach the next level'...

Yarmolenko is said to be very interested in a move to the PL but my colleague reckons there's practically 0 chance of him handing in a transfer request.

His honest opinion is that we'll get him and it will be less than his buy out clause... reckons ~£15m

Just passing this on, he's not ITK or anything... just an opinion from a Dynamo supporter who's been following the gossip on their end.

So if we beat them last season they'd have thought of us as a step up? Pissing Alcaraz attacking us from the grave.

If you think about the 2 players for every position which we will hopefully need soon with champions league next season...

GK -- ?? /??
RB -- Coleman / ??
RCB -- Stones / Browning
LCB --Jagielka/Mori/Galloway
LB --Baines / Garbutt / Oviedo
CM --Besic / McCarthy
CM -- Barkley / Cleverley
RW -- Deulofeu / ??
AM -- Yarmolenko /??
LW - - Mirallas / ??
CF -- Lukaku /??

Removing all the tosh players and who knows how the attacking 4 will line up but its not far away from being a very strong squad IF we sign Yarmolenko...

Ideally would need a keeper, attacking mid and a striker next season.

-------------------Howard------------------
----Coleman----Jags----Stones-----Baines

------------------McCarthy------------------

-----------Barkley----Cleverley------------

---Yarmolenko-----------------Mirallas----

-----------------Lukaku---------------------

Subs:
Robles
Deulofeu
Kone
Mori
Barry
Osman
Besic

Great squad that.

I think that squad would have a great chance of top 4 if we play that formation and sign them players of course, I'm not exaggerating either. That team would do serious damage.
