It is cringeworthy that a huge media group are using a computer game as a source of comparing players.

Yep, pretty pathetic really. However we are apparently in and age where clubs are actually using their data to find players (was never sure if this was confirmed as fact), so we cant expect the media who have been making up stories about Stones leaving to use anything with real life substance.

Because FM stats tell the full story, of comparing a player looking to reach the top potentially one of the best english centre halves produced, to a player who has never been tested at PL level and could be completely hit or miss.....

But his tackling stat is higher.

To be fair they weren't forcing the sale. Nigel Winterburn was adamant that Mori wasn't a replacement for Stones as we are so low on numbers at the back.

Nah, I havent seen the coverage so thats an assumption, however I wouldnt be surprised to see the exact same screenshot in "John Stones begs for transfer after EFC sign replacement".
