There was a lot of rumours suggesting he wanted to leave for first team football and then Enrique started playing him further back. Enrique has since come out and said he's going nowhere in the summer after he impressed in that position but that he still can't guarantee him first team football.

It would make sense if it's still the case he can't get 1st team football that Roberto will still want to leave so Barca may be willing to let him go in January.

This isn't from agents or anything like that, it's from his family, lots of people know them in Liverpool, and he's told them for years if there was a chance to come back to merseyside, either club he would.

That does not mean he's unhappy with being at crystal palace, and the truth is we probably didn't rate him as much as crystal palace did, so there wasn't much chance of doing a deal.

That doesn't mean he wouldnt jump at the chance of coming here though.
