The squads still light on first team quality back up for a team supposed to be pushing for top 6

Not really. We need a CB and a striker but everywhere else we have loads of options in case of injuries. One of the advantages of not fire selling our older players.

Top 4 is nigh on impossible to get in now Utd are back in business. But even top 6 or 7 is gonna be a struggle unless we bring in 3 or 4 more decent level of players

what we need simply if kev goes is someone who can come and do a similar job. we can play all the young potentials we want but we also need a player who we can depend on in a game. Who? no idea for our price range, would have said nani for the price he went for, mertins perhaps if there is truth/chance in that.

but yeah, just want us to have a dependable winning player in the team alongside the young and fustrating team mates. If that makes sense

Distin & Alcaraz offered nothing last season, fair point with Lennon, but we have added Gerry and Clev.

If we add a centra back, we are stronger, and that's before we go and get Lennon again.

Its if/when we start selling players late on that is my worry.

Because we didn't need them that much but distin still played 18 times and alcaraz still played 14.

In no way are we stronger, you just can't paint that picture. When we add the center back and the playmaker, we'll be close but even then it's still two signings away from being anywhere close to it.

Why exactly are Utd back in business?

They've a lot of positions they need strengthening and there's still a doubt over LVG in my opinion.

Because we didn't need them that much but distin still played 18 times and alcaraz still played 14.

In no way are we stronger, you just can't paint that picture. When we add the center back and the playmaker, we'll be close but even then it's still two signings away from being anywhere close to it.

We will need them even less this season.

But it's not just about the numbers, it's about the quality.

Right now we aren't improved on two seasons ago, and depending on the two new signings we will have just ticked over again, surviving isn't improving.

There going to spend another 100 mil this window ontop of what they have, they may not challenge for the title but id put a lot of money that they finsih top 4 with ease

Exactly mate. Ideally we would spend million and millions on people to sit on the bench, while Ross and Rom boss the league.

For a team not in Europe, that finished 11th, our back up is ok, and I think we would struggle to attract better, with no European football.

No you won't, most teams towards the top have suitable back up

Right now we aren't improved on two seasons ago, and depending on the two new signings we will have just ticked over again, surviving isn't improving.

But 2 years ago those 3 players where all loans. We own them all now and we've bought 2 very promising youngsters. It takes time especially with bugger all money to spend.
