i agree! but am i right in saying the james is still on 30k? if so, we need to fix that immediately

Stamford Bridge isn't excatly the best of grounds but high profile players go there, it's all about the wages in most cases.

Plus am glad Bobby hasn't threw all his money at the likes of this payet and ogbonna cos there's a lot much better elsewhere in the market.

Dunno. If the rumours of T-Clev being on 50K are true then he would doubtless want some parity. Who knows though, clubs payrolls are pretty much hearsay unless you have a genuine ITK from the financial dept who disclosed actual salaries,which would be very unprofessional.

Yea but unless you have a billionaire the stadium helps to pay for those wages.

I'm glad you think so. I was never convinced by Ogbonna but frankly I don't think we'll do better than Payet. I can understand the reasons we didn't in the end go for him but I think it will be another Tadic like mistake. Luckily our team is a lot stronger already than last year.

I don't really think we've been in for a single player since Deulofeu joined.
 
Are squad is not stronger than last year far from it the only real new face is Tom cleverly an he's not excatly star quality, although Geri has came in he was here a year back anyway an with Lennon going back geri's has only really filled his place in.
 

Football365 reckons that we have bid £11m for Ogbonna. Odd. Can't be that much surely!?

Our squad doesn't need to be stronger. It just needs to perform to the level we know it can, last season it under-performed.

It needs strengthening as well. A sustained tilt at European football needs us to have a squad that has the quality to pull through when we aren't performing well.

Disagree a bit there mate.

Looking at the squad that has been picked for Asia, it's very evident that we need a good centre half to cope with injury to Jags or Stones, especially as Distin and Alcaraz have left.

We need a better alternative to Lukaku as Kone just doesn't cut it and is another year older after 2 years ravaged with injury.

Right back is also a massive area of concern if our only other solution is Hibbert.
