if anything, not selling naismith tells me that we don't have our sights set on someone that would require more funds. if we had someone we wanted and needed the extra money, we would've sold him. there's no point in selling for the sake of selling at this hour.

SSN reporting we've knocked back 7-8 million for Naismith.

I genuinely give up. Martinez has lost my confidence totally.

"Everton have rejected a bid of up to £8m from Norwich City for Steven Naismith." Probably very little up-front, the rest linked to appearances, goals, international success etc... that is very different to £7-8M in one payment and probably not worth it at this late stage.

Naismith out for £8m? That's £4m for Lennon and £4m added to the Yarmolenko deal to push it through? I'd do that.
