No idea if he's a good one or not, but I agree.

The insatiable craving for signings is truly alarming.

It's over now. Just support the ones we have.

Tubes, we probably have been incompetent mate. Well colour me shocked. It's Everton.

for me if weve paid off our debt and are more viable then I have less of a problem with it, its the fact we see loan after loan, this shouldnt be the case with the players weve sold, where is the money going.....

Serious negotiations with Kiev over Yarmolenko began six days ago. If he did sign for us that would have left a couple of days for Kiev to replace him, their best player.

Would you want us to have two days to replace Barkley?

Do not blame Kiev. Blame our board.
i thought we had begun negotiations much earlier than that. i'm not without empathy of understanding their position, yes, but they also reneged on their initial decision - they even outright said we met their valuation and had us hanging around. i wouldn't want two days to replace a player either, but if i'm surkis and i'm genuinely considering moving yarmo to us (in asking us to meet his valuation), it seems pretty rude to just back out and leave us with no time at all.

Strange window - we've kept our best players despite intense media speculation and have added 7 new players(including Holgate & Henen)....but not the position our manager seemingly earmarked as the crucial summer signing. Also our starting XI continues to look pretty stale.

You happy with the boards provision of cash?

Me neither.

Basically, we kept Stones and that killed the window. As predicted.

Your welcome.

Once an Evertonian always an Evertonian, let's wait and see - we are not owned by a billionaire - we all want the best, but you can't sell your best player so late, and buy maybe a prima doña player!

But it's widely accepted that we'd agreed the buyout fee for Yarmolenko and the reason the transfer didn't happen was because of the owners preference to keep him on a whim. That and the fact we've signed Mori and Lennon shows the funds were available, it was Martinez's reluctance to change targets that have prevented us getting a playmaker not the board underfunding him.

The Stones saga had nothing to do with this.
It wasn't on a whim. It was because they had champions league games to play and had a chance to get out of the group. Frankly he would have been mad to sell. The one person I don't blame is the owner of Kiev.
