Why would he be "4th choice" rather than being loaned out again? Finding this explanation a little too hard to believe.

im pretty positive he is home grown

Yes, I do agree with you. But he has potential to become a good player. He did really well with Brentford on loan. Would have loved to see if he could progress into becoming a striker for us.
