Be quiet till August, probably shift on McGeady and bring Lennon is as cover, then go out towards the end of the window for the centre back and attacking mid when it all becomes clearer.

I though the idea was to get goals from other area's, (like our terrible poor wingers attacking midfielder slat season) and maybe even try and change the play, to get wins and points. Whether Kone gets the goals for me is completely irrelevant, if the team are getting points, and his is contributing in holding the play up.

I agree that we need to set up in a different way - or the same way, with the players who can feed Rom more. I just think that, as with McGeady, people can't be blamed for wanting rid of Kone based on his displays... I want to believe he can offer us something next year, though.

Naismith is as a good a striker as we're likely to be able to attract to sit on our bench. And we already have him.

I also agree that people seem to be overlooking the merits of having a player who is happy to sit on the bench for us, but who has shown he can contribute (and also is a good finisher).

Whilst people may be overestimating the 'craftiness' of our transfer dealings (i.e. Ogbonna being a decoy or something), I don't think Boberto would come out and state what areas he needs to strengthen without assurances he would have the backing to do so... or it would make us seem a bit ridiculoso. So, yeah, I reckon we'll get a few more in.
