it will be interesting to se starting line ups pre season games to get an idea of where Cleverly fits in. Hopefully LM. Should also identify whats missing.

True, I do think we'll get in a playmaker. I don't think that Del is the answer, or Cleverley. I think they're options, but I reckon we'll get a more specialist player in.
 

...non-rumour, I mentioned Ron Vlaar as a possible recruit based on the excellent service we have had from veteran CBs in recent history. I notice he's only 7/2 with Ladbrokes to join us.

Would like to sign him on a season long dealcbut as a fourth choice centerback, I'd still want to sign a third choice. That would then allow us to send Galloway, Browning and Pennington all out on season long loans too, which would be supper for all of their developments.

Vlaar would be getting far better offers than that though.

On Ogbonna I really hope he does complete his move to West Ham, he seems massively overrated. It seems those talking him up have never seen him play. I haven't either but as soon as I gave his thread a read on the Juve fan forum they don't rate him at all, he's there version of Alcaraz.

Worth a punt but I don't think he's what's needed.

That would be ideal - and then the Pienaar replacement - keep Kev.
Comfortable top half finish.
 

So, Ogbonna off to West Ham and according to SSN we won't be buying players that slots right into our starting XI(if I got it right).

I'm sure that means we won't buy players like Scott Dann or Jonny Evans, they would simply cost too much for that reason. That Estonian lad feels like a more realistic target if that's the case.
