The agent is just stumping up the interest and valuation of the player in question.

If West Ham go down this season they move into the new stadium with Championship football to look forward to. They are under pressure to spend big this summer. Anyway it's always best to compare spending at the end of the window rather than the start of July!We are much skinter than we would imagine even with that new TV money.
A mid-lower size club like West Ham spend a lot more.

West Ham will have spent £25m after Ogbonna and that's with no exits.
I somehow doubt we haven't got £8m to spend on a defender his summer. He's either said no to us, or we were never in for him at all.
AAAARGHHH can all you negative t1ts stop guessing how much we have to spend and deciding it is about 50p.
WE HAVE JUST SIGNED THE BIGGEST TV DEAL IN HISTORY - WE WILL SPEND BIG MONEY.
Relax ffs, it is the first week of the transfer window not september the 5th....

Billy Bigballs syndrome.Came back 2nd season with an awful attitude and had a row with one of the coaches i think...laudrup left and he totally changed from the friendly sociable person in year one to having a chip on his shoulder year 2.
Was an article on it a few weeks ago.
So, Ogbonna off to West Ham and according to SSN we won't be buying players that slots right into our starting XI(if I got it right).
I'm sure that means we won't buy players like Scott Dann or Jonny Evans, they would simply cost too much for that reason. That Estonian lad feels like a more realistic target if that's the case.
Ibrahim Afellay is really injury prone but was a cracking player. Seemed to do OK at OlympiacosThree different free transfer shouts.
Ibrahim Afellay (good squad winger) - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ibrahim-afellay/profil/spieler/15760
Ezequiel Munoz (23 years old, good backup CB potential starter eventually) - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ezequiel-munoz/profil/spieler/75127
Yoannn Gourcuff (#10 with unfulfilled potential) - http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/yoann-gourcuff/profil/spieler/18912
It might be worth it to get Dann at this stage. Spending a couple of million extra to get someone we want is better than going into the season with 2 CBs and 2 kids and a panic buy. Look at how Alcaraz cost us last season and we all thought he was 4th choice so not really an issue. No we won't. Crystal Palace want unreal money for him.
I rather get Vlaar on a free rather than blowing a huge sum on Dann. Not worth it at all.
We should have a poll to see what people think.AAAARGHHH can all you negative t1ts stop guessing how much we have to spend and deciding it is about 50p.
