Would like to sign him on a season long dealcbut as a fourth choice centerback, I'd still want to sign a third choice. That would then allow us to send Galloway, Browning and Pennington all out on season long loans too, which would be supper for all of their developments.

Vlaar would be getting far better offers than that though.

On Ogbonna I really hope he does complete his move to West Ham, he seems massively overrated. It seems those talking him up have never seen him play. I haven't either but as soon as I gave his thread a read on the Juve fan forum they don't rate him at all, he's there version of Alcaraz.

On the subject of Ogbonna - he's really not the kind of centre back we need - he has bags of potential but he's a bit slow upstairs and never really seems to be in control. (I'm not sure if we ever even in for him anyway).

Let's be honest, if you're playing for Juventus you're clearly an alright player. That said, i'm not fussed on him not joining. He had the chance to start at West Ham or be on the bench for us.

....I think playing for a London club is a big attraction, plus the move to the Olympic Stadium has got to put the Hammers in a fine strategic position.

So, Ogbonna off to West Ham and according to SSN we won't be buying players that slots right into our starting XI(if I got it right).

I'm sure that means we won't buy players like Scott Dann or Jonny Evans, they would simply cost too much for that reason. That Estonian lad feels like a more realistic target if that's the case.

We are much skinter than we would imagine even with that new TV money.

A mid-lower size club like West Ham spend a lot more.

Came back 2nd season with an awful attitude and had a row with one of the coaches i think...laudrup left and he totally changed from the friendly sociable person in year one to having a chip on his shoulder year 2.

Was an article on it a few weeks ago.

Does anyone know what the story is with him? Why the sudded drop in form. Was it just to do with the injury (ankle?) or was there personal stuff?

The agent is just stumping up the interest and valuation of the player in question.

Everton are in for Dann really lads.

No we won't. Crystal Palace want unreal money for him.

I rather get Vlaar on a free rather than blowing a huge sum on Dann. Not worth it at all.
