Somewhat surprised we haven't loaned players to Barnsley more. They nurture young talent properly it seems, and we have a relationship already.

@Magic BFC - got any gaps in the squad you could fill with a loan of one of our boys? Haha
lol relationship? We bought one of their kids. thats pretty much the beginning and end of that relationship.

Roberto in the Echo today: “Ross Barkley is the freshest that I have seen him and I am looking forward to seeing him play on Tuesday and the way we want to play, midfield is a very important area and I feel now we have the options we are going to need during the season."

Is he saying Cleverley is our new no.10?

Pointless story alert!

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jul/26/chelsea-26m-everton-john-stones-bid

In 48 hours? They are going to bid £26 million? Why don't they go the whole hog and say it is going to be rejected as well?

I hate transfer windows.
In 48 hours ? Chelsea have a few errands to run first. Abramovich has doctors appointment this afternoon and is playing chess later tonight with his mate. Mourinho is at the zoo with his kids tomorrow so it will have to wait until Wednesday until they can fit Stones and Everton into their schedule.

The only reason they would bother with a £26m bid is to keep this in the press. They know it would be rejected.

Yup, that's pretty much it! Sky were saying their 'sources' say that Everton put a price tag of £34m on him.

Honestly starting to think that "sky sources" are much like how Family Guy comes up with new jokes in that South Park Episode.

They should just cut the BS and start saying "Sky's Manatees have informed us that Everton will replace John Stones with Kurt Russell circa 1995"

FFS looks like the manatee has picked Coleman to be transferred.

They are only running with £34M because Bill told them they'd have to break the record for an English defender to get him. Rio was £33M so they made up a sum just above that.
