If we keep Stones (which I'm not convinced we will) I'm actually not arsed about a defender. Browning and Galloway are decent back ups, and if one of them has to step in then they have to take their chance.

Number 10/Winger would be nice, but again, the players are there within the squad to do a job
- Barkley, Del, Kev are as talented a bunch as we're going to see behind the striker without mega investment. Its a case of managing them correctly and getting the best out of them. Osman, Pienaar, Connor, McGeady are semi-able deputies.

Coming round to the idea that the most pressing need is a striker to give Rom competition. Rather than a hold up player, I'd like to see a Tevez, Saurez type, someone who can press and worry defenders with acceleration. Wouldn't mind seeing some sort of punt at this, any ideas? Could Shaqiri play this role?

Jesus, you are Bill's wet dream!

We cum to you live now from Sky News HQ where we join Jim White for his one hour transfer special: The White Stuff.

Millie Clode apparently doing a special one off documentary for Transfer deadline day as well where she discusses Premier League players penis'.

Clode on Chode is due to air at 8pm on deadline day.
Metro are reporting this also. Looks like it's a goer. Hopefully get a good look at Jim White's willy as well. I have an inside source who tells me that it's almost identical in shape and size to an outie belly button.

Some posters on here would just love us to spend £30mil on absolute dross every window, have massive squads and an even bigger wage bill. Just another example of the social-media driven frenzy that the transfer windows now are. How that, if we don't spend £9mil on a striker who scored, what... twice last season(?), it means we're getting left behind and are sealing our fate in the championship. We'll get players in, perhaps later than most of us wouLD like but they'll arrive. And, hopefully, we'll keep our squad intact, which for a team that had such a disappointing campaign last year would be no mean feat.

Saw a mention from the Daily Fail about Everton and a bunch of prem clubs being interested in a loan for PSG's Jean-Christophe Behebeck, 22 y/o striker. any good, like?
