See McCarthy/Felliani. Had the latter not been sold the former would not have been purchased. Had we not burgled the extra £7m for the latter then the asking price for the former would not have been met.

I'm beginning to think we aren't going for the same players that Stoke are in for - because we are in for better players. Big names. Names that need to be hush hush for now.

I think the problem with Shaqiri is his name, really.

You can be utterly gash but when you're called Xerdan Shaqiri people will just think you're boss regardless.

I have no issue with this at all. It helps that he scores boss goals too. Even like 3 of them a season and I'd be happy.
