Ahh the man who won't let John Stones have a sniff in the England squad. Just like Borini, Woy is a whopper.

My biggest concern that I've had with the squad as a while for quite a number of years now is that we haven't had quality players on the bench. This has caused us issues trying to put together cup runs, or pushing at the final hurdle to try and get European football, effects league form when we have a couple of injuries.

Right this very moment 3 days before the first match of the season we have the following players who'd you'd class as starters officially fit to play.

Howard, Coleman, Jags, Baines, Barry, McCarthy, Cleverly, Barkley, Naismith, Kone, Osman, Robles, Oviedo.

We then have Browning and Galloway, who have a bit of experience as youngsters and McAleny.

A best possible side from that lot would be...

Howard

Coleman - Jags - Browning - Baines

McCarthy - Barry

Naismith - Barkley - Cleverly

Kone

Robles, Galloway, Oviedo, McAleny, Osman

Now before you say oh Lukaku is near enough fit, Stones and Mirallas might only have a little knocks and can make the Watford match, clear that our of your head and look at that team! It's disgusting.

The possibility of having to line up with a bench like that or an attack with Kone up front for the Christmas run in or any game for that matter this season is horrifying.

We need players and we need quality players asap! We're so thin in so many positions its so bad it's funny.

Well clearly taking 3 of our best players in the squad out of consideration will affect how poor the squad looks

Kone, just Kone, didn't need all the other names......

tears at hair!

I prefer thinking about waking up after deadline day,log on to GOT,still hungover after an amazing start to the season and be completely and immediately brought back to life by seeing that beautiful smile from Martinez, surrounded by three phenomenal signings we only have dreamt of with a happy ,joyful Stones hanging over their shoulders, joining in in that incredibly positive atmosphere that has taken over at Goodison.

Reports in Italy say that both Everton and Newcastle are following Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Swiss forward is reportedly included in Inter's list of players to be sold this summer.

He refused recently to move to Stoke City, while rumours linking him to Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund persist.

YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH erm what does "following" actually entail does it mean he's signing

Means naff all really.

Never mind an agenda against Martinez theirs too many who have an obvious agenda against the board (coming from someone who despises Kenwright) this is nothing to do with money because of 2 reasons:

1. West Ham paid £9 million for Ogbonna who thanked us in negotiations after choosing 1st team football and London FACT as much as those claiming the manager has no money like to try rewrite history and act like we had a mere interest and weren't in negotiations with the player.

2. Any Sky TV cash came in August and it's currently August 5th, this wouldn't have stopped us agreeing a deal with a club in July/talks with players which again one would assume would be picked up by atleast 1 media outlet out there.

Fact is as much as the Bobby Brigade don't like to admit it, he's used all of pre season to realise we haven't a player who can pick a forward pass and have a backup striker who couldn't net in a brothel. Phenomenal as they say.
Same last season. He spent the whole pre-season to see if Pienaar would come good when it was obvious from the season before that he was finished.

Just means we're interested but I thought that was well known at this point.

It's bad enough missing out on players to West Ham, if we lose someone to Newcastle I may actually need the bleach
