Seen the ToffeeTV lads mention it through the week too and they're usually good.

I would prefer a creator, but can understand if the manager would prefer to get a striker given how awful Kone has looked, plus we've managed without a creative midfielder for a few years now.

As for Yarmolenko, there's no doubt he's a quality player. I don't think he's the type of player we're after though. I think we're after a Pienaar or David Silva kind of player.

Since Pienaar went MIA we have struggled to score.

Just can't see us spending £15m on a striker.

The other two positions are more of a priority.

I'll be shocked if Van Dijk or Evans isn't the CB signing, I can certainly see that deal going through only once Utd and Celtic sort out their CL qualifiers, that could explain all the papers claiming Evans was a done deal then suddenly RM dismissing it.

I would like Austin but tbh I can't see us having moved so quickly for a striker as I think he only decided we needed one after Sunday, if this story of RM in London is anything to go by could possibly be for Quintero, but who knows at this point I think only that back up CB signing is predictable.
