I think he's they're trying to lowball QPR to be honest. Austin apparently desperately wants the move as he's got a house up here etc from when he was at Burnley. I think it will happen it's just a matter of when.

Didnt bobby say in that followtonians interview he wont have the 28m to spend this summer. Austin would take a massive chunk out of that and id much prefer a playmaker and centre back

Unless............ its a swap deal for kone, mcgeady and naismith wink wink
No, he actually said if you're expecting us to go out and spend £28M on a player again like last season then you'll be disappointed because we don't have that sort of money.

Completely different thing.

...I think this one has been about for a few days;

Everton have made a £7m proposal to Barcelona for the permanent transfer of young Croatian playmaker Alen Halilovic but Celta Vigo remain in pole position to land the youngster according to Deportivo Mundo.

Could Austin maybe join on loan? Like when Remy moved after they went down?

And Everloan were boss.

It will almost certainly be a loan if we get him. Qpr and trimming their wage bill and whilst I don't imagine he is their higher earner (no new contract if I recall) they are loaning their big names left right and centre in case they get back into the pl

They have rejected a 13 million pound offer from Newcastle, I can't see them agreeing to a lower fee from us.

Be a wierd one as hes just a kid with no experience in anything like a decent league

Isn't anyone else worried that we might be signing a 26 year old for reasonably big money who has had one season in the premier league?
I'm not worried about that.

He's always scored goals. And the good thing about him is he's scored lots of different goals. Left foot, right foot, head, doesn't matter.

Aye how often has he scored without having the ball passed to him though as currently we have no one capable of it
