How do you see this working? Outside of Gibson, I'm not sure I see anyone leaving that doesn't require a direct replacement, even if McGeady (*hopes).

Yep, only DM/CM and LB where we could afford to lose a player.
Well, the only players we dont have a direct replacement for, I mean, somebody that could replace them long term, IMO, is RB and Striker, it could be said CB also.
Basically we need to get rid of some of the tosh and im gonna use the word tosh, even tho some arent tosh, just aging/injured or downright terrible, but, the way I see it, Barry, Gibson, Pienaar, McGeady, Osman, Hibbert, Oviedo, Naismith and Kone are all very much surplus to requirements. If I was playing FM, I would stick all those on the transfer list ASAP.
And yes, I wouldnt expect to hear any offers for most.

Browning is capable for both. Plus Browning is good at one on ones as well which is something we lack.
The manager may be looking at how preseason goes before he pushes to sign the remainder of his targets.
We know he has to sign a centrehalf , we just don't know who that will be, we know that Dann , Klavan and Ogbonna are the names mentioned so far and they may or may not be genuine targets. I still think that Dawson from Hull is worth watching.
We know that Aaron Lennon will probably come back to Everton but maybe at the very end of the window and we are likely to lose Mirallas and possibly McGeady.
I think that the manger may be swayed by the performances of Barkley, Deulofeu and Cleverley in preseason in deciding his targets.
We know the manager wants a creative midfielder and I think he may look at those in preseason to see if they have potential. Barkley had a poor season but he has the ability to be anything he wants.
After signing Deulofeu I think the manager suggested they may use more time to bring in other targets.

Why would they want them cluttering up their Physio room anymore than we want them in ours?
The 2/3 in there that can play more than 60 mins without injuring themselves are on their way out and on biggish wages, why would they want to move?
Indeed, I mean take Pienaar for example, if he can stay fit hes a cracking option to have, but, hes 33 years old and im sure we all doubt he can stay fit for more than 2 or 3 games, but why would he move, im pretty sure hes on 50k a week, no other club in the world would pay him half of that. We have given some of them very good contracts, way beyond their usefulness to the team.
Could not, for the life of me figure that out. Thought he meant there was another one, thought I was going mental forgetting another player haha

Mertens and Van Dijk would quieten even the biggest moaners. Not saying it would make us any more successful or that they would be great players for us but at least it would stop the moaning!
