Spot on Hughes is well known for going back in for a target before they leave for someone else.

It's obvious we were in talks and Stoke have come back in and trumped us. Absolute disgrace from the club the fans will be at boiling point with this board and manager soon.

Is it obvious though?

Are players not allowed to go watch a game without having DEFINITELY signed for the club? The knee-jerk reactions in this thread is unbelievable

Only a rumour on twitter that he was at Goodison yesterday, wonder what he made of the boo's if he was there.

Haha it's an interesting one for sure. Especially with Sparky confirming yesterday that Stoke are in talks with Yarmolenko and Adama Traore. Surely they couldn't afford all 3!?

Also just another thing to note, this game is on TV so obviously Sky Sports are going to show footage of rumoured signings at grounds to get more people watching. How many more people put on the game to see if he was actually there? Bet it was tons.

He could well have been at Goodison but Sky weren't arsed because it's not a televised game and this adds so much more drama to the whole story = more hits and clicks on their website.
