Na just get stabbed and raped instead now
As long as they don't take my bus pass.

The chances of you being a tourists in Liverpool an getting caught up in any sort violence are really really low.

Liverpool is safe city in that sense.

In any case my maa lives on the new estate by Newsham so if anyone Bum rushes @Curtis she'll bounce round with all the local dog walkers to sort it out.

He absolutely safe as houses.

Afternoon all, in need of some travel advice please. For the Bournemouth game, I'll likely be picking someone up from and dropping them back off again at Jct 26 of the M6 (along the M58 near Skelmersdale). Does anyone have any recommendations of my best options getting between Jct 26 and Goodison? Park and ride, park near stadium etc? Any tips greatly received as this is my first time doing these travel arrangements for a game! Thanks, Mark

Possibly come off the M58 at Maghull and park at the train station. Then train from there to Kirkdale and walk up to the ground. Sure others will have better ideas.

If there from skem then drive right past them mate
Dont stop

Plus points of the digs in Shiel Road :

It’s near enough to the ground to walk.

Minus points :

You’ll get mugged, offered gear and a gummy suck off a crack ho before you get the there.

Other than that you’ll be fine 👍
He’ll be able to get his breath back when/if he reaches Breck Rd.

After wondering for years if I would ever make it over from the States to see Goodison Park with my own eyes, it's finally happening. I'll be coming with the wife for a long weekend to attend the West Ham match on 15 March. I was hoping for some advice on two things:

1. What area or specific hotel would you recommend for our lodging during our time in Liverpool?

2. What area of the stadium would you recommend I look for tickets? (I plan to purchase through the club once they go on sale but if anyone has any other advice on buying match tickets, that would be welcome as well)

Thanks in advance.

you now need an entry pass for travel to the UK I believe, don't forget this

City Centre is a solid choice for where to stay, lots of hotel or other rental options

just find 2 tickets together with a good view; there are many opinions on where to sit and you can't have it all. have sat top balcony myself and enjoyed it. definitely buy through the club site; it's a hassle but getting the membership and waking up early is worth it to make sure you get the tickets you want.

have fun!

Stayed there a couple of times not long after it opened. Really nice place.

We always book a Premier Inn for matches now. Decent price, clean and really comfy beds. If you're not bothered about going back into town, we started booking the North Liverpool one which is usually even cheaper and only a couple of train stops between Old Roan and Kirkdale (for Goodison). They're not fancy but they have a good minimum standard - Clean, warm and comfy. Enjoy the match. There's nothing like your first Goodison trip. 👍

As far as tickets go... Good luck, my friend. It's always a scramble and they sell out very very quickly. At the very least, get your memberships linked. You'll need one for each ticket. Probably best to choose "Best Available" and run for the checkout. Even then, I've always encountered some glitch. It is very, very stressful. Don't even leave it till 5 mins after it opens. They'll probably be gone.

Is there a US supporters club that could sort you out? Supporters clubs get their tickets before the general sale, as far as I know. I was able to get three this way last match (TBF it was Peterborough).

At least, if you're a member, you'll have access to the resale platform. Hope you can sorted, mate.
