Travel thread 3.0

Been meaning to post pictures. I went to Miami and it was very nice. Traffic was a pure nightmare. The distance from my hotel to the beach was 16 miles one way and it took me an hour to get there. Never have I encounter so many jams and red lights then I did when I was in Miami. Haulover Beach was gorgeous and peaceful and that’s all what matters. That and the water was PERFECT!!!

Game sucked though. Penn State played well, but our star quarterback went full Everton That and threw a interception in the wrong end of the field with 34 seconds to play (allowing Notre Dame to be in position to kick a game winning field goal to move on to the college football playoff final). Proud of the lads as it was easily the best season in close to a decade.

Can I recommend that you do not to go Delhi, especially at rush hour. Beyond insanity - took us 1.5 hours to go about a mile.

Mate of mine has just broken up with his gf with whom he was going to Barcelona. He's just offered me the flight for free so I'm going with him now instead. Lucky him.

Any recommendations for things to do in Barcelona gratefully received ;)
Been several years since I last went. Found the central and more popular areas too busy and was always wary of getting robbed. A lot of tourist traps as well for food so I’d plan where to eat in advance.
If I was to visit again, I’d probably just find a nice area on the outskirts and sip coffee and beers all day in some local cafe.
Not sure your mate would enjoy that though. It’s why I always liked travelling alone tbh.
