I think Dark is the best put of ether show I’ve watched, always end up engrossed but it’s not just the story it’s the music and sound as well all round amazing production. No worries about wat bing it alone my Mrs won’t watch stuff like this

I reckon they must have plotted out and gone over the script for the entire 3 seasons before starting. Good to see something that you think isn’t just largely made up as it goes or where the writers just finish a series with a vague idea of where they’re going.

The new David Simon/Ed Burns series, The Plot Against America, starts on Sky next week. It's based on the Philip Roth novel. If it is anywhere near the quality of the book it will be well worth watching. It's particularly relevant now with Trump in the White House.

I watched it recently and I enjoyed it, it's starts fairly slow and gradually builds.

I haven’t seen much in the way of Spanish stuff. I guess the narcos Mexico is Spanishish and that’s great. Money Heist is Spanish but I haven’t watched that yet heard it was a bit cheesy.

Yeah money heist is casa de papel and it's very cheesy in parts. I'll watch narcos it's just I'm learning Spanish and it's just a little different in Europe to South America

The book was a slow build as well, but got more tense as it went along. It was interesting to see how a fascist state could develop somewhere like the USA. Apparently Roth thought it would only happen through a "heroic" populist leader such as Lindbergh but admitted before he died that he got this wrong and didn't foresee Trump being elected.

Just finished the first three seasons of Narcos. The first two (Esobar's Medellin Cartell story) were fantastic, the third season (Cali Cartel) kind of got a bit repetitive but still very good. Anyone seen Season 3 (Mexican storyline)?

If you thought that was good check out Gommarah. Best tv series I’ve ever watched

Very interesting. Which I knew of the book before I watched the series
