Warrior Nun - Netflix.

Taken from the Manga strip of the same name.

Bizarre, in that the first five episodes are comically bad, then it’s like they switched writers and it becomes really good.

Secret sect of Warrior nuns protect the world from the Devil and Demons.

Set in scenic and historic Andalusia and with a stunningly beautiful and unknown Alba Baptista in the lead.

A hard one to recommend due to half of it being so bad, but if you can put up with the first half the rest of it is really good.

Second series in the offing.

2 episodes in and I like it very much. Got a few different themes going on. Could go downhill from here like if they go a certain route.

Damnation was a strange one, kind of flew under the radar of a lot of people and crying shame they cancelled it after one series.

I thought it was proper quality, with a standout cast, particularly Killian Scott and Logan Marshall - Green.

No Western tv series will ever top Godless ( imo )

Anybody watched Godfather of Harlem? I’m three eps in and it’s not really grabbing me.

This sort of thing is usually right up my alley. Is it worth persevering with?
