TV Series

Anybody else watching Industry? Bit like a modern version of This Life except the female leads are much fitter.
Mostly set in a London Investment House so not sure how accurate it is, but it's very watchable so far. Up to episode 3 on BBC. It's produced by HBO and written be Lena Durham, so the credentials are good.

Suburra Blood on Rome.

Why have I overlooked this for so long, it’s just tremendous.

Organised crime, the Vatican, bent cops and council officials in a web of murder, deceit, corruption and dirty politics.

Three series, half way through series two and I’ll give my verdict after a finish the lot.

It’s a 9/10 so far.

Cheers for championing it @Zatara

I've been watching and it's pretty good. Quite an easy watch but not amazing

It's not actually written by Lena Durham, she directed an episode. It's written and created by 2 guys that used to work in investment banking in London. I worked in "The City" for a short while myself and it certainly doesn't feel too far from the truth.

It was about to be my pick before I started on fargo, which I'm enjoying.

Definitely give it a look now after, cheers.

I’ve watched 18 episodes in 4 days, last time I did that was with Fauda.

I didnt really get into Suburra to begin with, but when season 2 came out i watched 1 again and 2 back to back.

Its brilliant and, like Gomorrah just gets better with each season.
