Wasn't really a fan of his until I watched the Big Short which I thought he was superb in. Also caught him in Space Force and some of the stuff in that series had me cracking up with laughter.

Jack Black has been decent in a couple of films, but I just can't relate at all to the other two you mentioned

Watched Mindhunter, really good was loving it but how they can leave it at 2 seasons with so many stories still developing has really annoyed me.
Crime dramas set in the 70s/80s might be my new favourite genre.

I’ve revisited boys from the black stuff and minder, tv was a lot better back in that era.

Yeah I get that. I think for me, a part of that is that there is less things like CTV and modern tech involved. Makes stories easier to tell and can be more believable.
For the purposes of TV, means that stories told can seem less conclusive as the story develops.

Enjoyed Space Force, and The Morning Show was very good, but I've only ever laughed at him in that bit in Liar Liar.

Yeah, I love anything from that period, and any show that manages to capture the feel and setting of those days. Watched the Ripper documentary and thought it was fantastic. Wasn't just about the investigation, but the era and society it happened in, thought it was ace.
