Skipped 3 and started 5. Lady Gaga is actually a perfect casting.

Skip 4? It's brilliant. Unless you're scared of clowns.

Just finished The Expanse. Absolutely brilliant stuff.

Now Ill look for something similar - Dark Matter, Firefly (again), Star Trek Discovery is supposed to be good - any other suggestions?

really enjoyed that, wasn’t particularly a fan of some of the others..... Picard on Amazon is ok and obv the same universe.

Really didn't like Discovery by the latest season. A lot of popular progressivism force into the narrative and a storyline that doesn't keep itself contained.

....met him once. I was on a short flight from Dublin to Galway and was sitting next to him. I had no idea who he was but a few mates said ‘that’s Gabriel Byrne the actor’, so I asked him and we had a decent chat. Said he was visiting his Mum, I said we were going to Galway races. Apparently there were rumours at that time of him & Grace Jones, but he said don’t believe all you read in the papers.

What a nice fella, even came and found me when I was waiting for my bag to say goodbye and hope we had a nice visit.

Ahhh it’s nice to hear one of your heroes not being a total plum. His performance in Miller’s Crossing is right up there for me.

Just finished This Country on iPlayer - its a docu-comedy which is a well worn path now, but it’s very well done. Daisy May-Cooper is superb, some of her little looks at the camera are brilliant

I thought it was visually brilliant, but something empty about it. The mexican bad guy - great performance but that womans hair was ridiculously annoying.

Like most of these narco crime series, you have to put belief on hold.

Very well acted and slick, I will watch series 2.
