Watched squid game, decent but very overhyped. The VIPS came close to completely ruining the show, just utterly bizarre stuff… they could have made them really interesting and dark but instead they made them super camp/hammy whitch resulted in some of the most unnatural/forced acting you’ll ever see. Genuinely struggled to get through a single scene they were involved in. Just dreadful.

Overall I give it a 6.5/10

Would have been a 7.5 without the VIPs almost ruining the entire show

Got to the end of squid game. Agree with what everyone said about the VIPs episode.

But I thought episode 6 - the marbles one - was a masterpiece, and was absolutely gut wrenching to watch (although the final episode twist then undercuts it somewhat).

The most complete drama, since the BBC did 'Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.

I know I'm late, but finished Squid Game yesterday. For the most part I thought it was really good. The VIPs were utter crap though and the ending didn't really do it for me. Still though, really good.

The VIPs were like mad stereotypes of rich Americans when we usually see western productions with mad stereotypes of Asians.

Finished Always Sunny in Philadelphia, enjoyable for the most part although can get a bit tiresome if you binge it too much, mainly due to Charlie just being overly intense all the time lol

Was there a big gap in between seasons at some point ? It felt like Dennis and Mac visually aged about 10 years in-between one season

Yep. Similar to Arrested Development, there was a bit of a gap from when the show originally 'ended' to when it was picked up again and carried on. Think this happened to Always Sunny around season 12/13. As far as I know, they've just wrapped filming of season 15.

The marbles episode was one of the best episodes of tele I’ve ever watched, then all completely undone with the VIPs and the reveal in the last episode.

There was too much going on in the last episode.

Seemed like anytime the emotional punch was coming some sort of twist happened that wasn’t really needed.

I’m not sure the big reveal made any kind of sense either.
