Not a bad idea to bring it back for family early evening Saturday viewing, but surely they could have found someone/anyone better to host it than Bradley Walsh, as if he isn’t on telly enough! As for pairing him up alongside his flippin’ son !

Should have stuck with tradition, Lucy Verasamy was the call.

Thought 1st episode of S4 of True Detective was a good start. No idea where it’s going to go but interesting that it’s got a hint of a supernatural side to it

Agree, a story that could be told in a couple of episodes, they drag out to 8.

Think all the TV adaptions of Harlem Coben books have been dragged out and poor.

I wanted to like it but couldn’t help just thinking what is the point of this? Didn’t finish it in the end, formulaic nonsense with no substance. Just churning stuff out for the sake of it.

I was left very unsure after that first episode. Have they gone down a completely different path with supernatural elements? If so, it's not really a True Detective show and would've been better off as a standalone.

Will fire up the second episode this evening, hoping the pacing picks up a little and we finally get a few interesting characters.

@coollino I’m very happy, to report that this is great.

Wonderful cast, very well written, really funny in parts, quite tragic in others. weird and surreal in others.

Two gifted young Aussie brothers, from a down at heel criminal family, try and keep their lives together, despite the chaos of their lives. One of the brothers has visions, where he can partially see their futures and they both share the same reoccurring dreams.

My prediction is that it’ll be a slow burn, word of mouth hit. It’s already getting fantastic reviews.

The reviews from critics who have seen the whole series are really good so I’m hopeful it will be strong overall
