I didn't even realise it was Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) till well into the 2nd episode lolI thought it was excellent, especially the two young lads as the leads.

If you like those gritty series I'd recommend a show called East West 101, it's from about 15 years ago and was done quite accurately and since SBS made it and it wasn't done by the garbage commercial networks it could touch on subjects they would never go near.Really good cast all round.
I really liked the way, that the established actors, acted as support to the two young lads.
It worked really well.
I’m going to read the book on the strength of it.
Aussie tv do this type of gritty stuff very well.

No I haven't, I'll give them a watch. Pederson is in one of the episodes of East West 101 from memory too.Have you seen the Mystery Road stuff ?
Both the films and tv series are amongst my all time favourites and I’m still amazed, that Aaron Pederson wasn’t picked by Hollywood after them.

Yeah he's from Alice so he would have seen it all first hand. It's a different world out there, that people like myself on the east coast really have no idea about for right or wrong. The tv series caused a lot of trouble by all accounts, due to its accurate portrayal of outback communities and their overt racism towards Aboriginal people.
Pederson is mixed race aboriginal himself.
I could easily see him in the Mad Max role.
Found all 3 seasons. Going on tonight to binge with my Chinese takeout.ORDERED PRAWN CRACKERS to help mop up my salty Everton tears. Otherwise the Hot and Sour Soup will be neverending. He was in another good aussie show called Black Snow.I didn't even realise it was Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) till well into the 2nd episode lol
Some were better than others especially the final one but a cracking series. I occasionally see that young , evil copper in the local ASDA which makes me want to watch the series again for some reasonFinally reached the end of Line of Duty. Outstanding series with hair-raising moments.
It'll be a while before the household returns to normal after this. The cat was interrogated either side of the kitchen table.
"Clawprints matching your own were found around the fridge door suggesting repeated attempts to gain access to remains of haggis supper."
