Anyone watched the new Sexy Beast prequel series?, its on Paramount so can't get that on my microwave.

Its no masterpiece but im quite enjoying it.

Nothing is.

Think there is enough in it to be a good watch still.

I’m the same tbh.

The battle scenes are immense, but you don’t really have a feel for any of the characters.

Characters are unlikeable...all of them. Im enjoying the story but perhaps thats part of it.

I’ve been watching Gomorra on Netflix but for some reason it only has 3 seasons. Moved onto Yellowstone now and they also only have 3 seasons of it

Not sure whether I saw this on TV or dreamt it:

The guy who played Lewis Litt off Suits was a commando who just came back from a mission, then Adam Sandler showed up in a Ferrari.

‘Litt’ eyeballed the Ferrari and confidently said “that’s mine now”.

‘Sandler’ drove off, but ‘Litt’, in pursuit, fired an RPG which created carnage in the city street, people everywhere, a crater in the road, cars everywhere.

‘Sandler’ got out of his car, showed the middle finger and somersaulted over a Humvee while ‘Litt’ and unseen others fired gunshots at him. ‘Sandler’ ran off, easily dodging the bullets and filtered out of the zone of contention nicely.

10/10 would watch again. Better than the garbage they serve up on Netflix and BBC

Been watching Billions on Paramount through Amazon.

Loved the first 2 series but gradually losing its fire and pull.

On season 6 now and Damien Lewis who was amazing in it has left and I'm now watching it more for duty than pleasure.

First couple of seasons are addictive viewing though.

I stuck with it and ended up not minding it but yeah there were parts that were very cringey. I don't know if that was by design as it was going to an international audience playing up the "ocker ozzie" crap which is tedious as hell.

Feels like a shiny version of ‘Two Hands’ but I might pick it up again if theres nothing on.

Watched the first 2 episodes of the new True Detective.
Seems OK, a little bit on the X-Files side strangely enough.

Could have definitely done without seeing a 60+ Jodie Foster being railed by a chubby Christopher Eccleston though
