TV Series

I'd never heard of Griselda, on Netflix, before this morning. I was looking for something to watch, and this appealed. I've watched all six episodes today and really enjoyed it.

It's about a female Colombian drug lord (played by Sofia Vergara) operating in Miami.

If you enjoyed the likes of Narcos and El Chapo, you'll enjoy this...

I’m the same tbh.

The battle scenes are immense, but you don’t really have a feel for any of the characters.
Was reading an interview with Tom Hanks last week that may partially explain the problem.
Of the three series, this is the only one where there is no first hand involvement from the actual subjects. The cast only had the author Donald Miller as a source to rely on.

If you've read the book, which reads Ike an old school history textbook, it might explain the time it is taking to get to know the characters.

That being said, been impressed with Austin Butler so far and can't imagine Barry Keoghan not being great when he gets more screen time.

Watching the second season of Welcome to Wrexham. The two Yanks are alright, but what about Phil Parkinson; he says the f-word in every sentence during the teamtalk. How old is he, like 12? Then his assistant just repeats after him. Just watched the episode where they signed Ben Foster; he's a tit. Don't like Mullin either. And then the inhabitants of Wrexham, what's that all about, the simpletons. Do they make love to hobbits there or what?
