How does it compare to series 1 ?

Nothing compares to season one. It's better than season 2 and the same level of just fine as season 3

Absolutely no comparison at all.
Series 1 judging by 2, 3 and 4 will never be surpassed.
After sticking with 4 I'm left feeling as if I've just responded to one of those Nigerian Prince scam emails and found out I've been rinsed of all my worldly goods.

Just started One Day tonight. It’s like Netflix took BBC’s Normal People and dumbed it down for the masses. Great soundtrack and probably more a reflection on how great I thought Normal People was than One Day not being good which it is.

This Breathtaking is a hard watch. Tears here. Hopefully a timely reminder to voters of the incompetence the government and despite the heroic efforts of the NHS they still had to strike to get a paltry pay rise.

Was a bit Miss Marple by the end, but overall a decent watch.
Still prefer The Thing though
