TV Series

True Detective season 4 was meh, writing and pacing was utterly horrible, so many ridiculous coincidences that just happened "because" and plot that gone absolutely nowhere, reading some of those glowing reviews, just wtf.
Shame, because it was interesting premise, cold and brooding Alaska setting with Jodie Foster.

I wish they just get Woody and McConaughey back for season 5 and fully lean into cosmic horror/Lovecraft inspired stuff

It was fine imo, thought it could have been a lot better with the setting they had and Jodie Foster nailing it as she does. It slides in beside TD season 3 for me, watchable but ultimately quite forgettable.

Yeah I mean I'm not going to remember it forever, but there are only a few shows I do think about after watching so that's fine. I really liked season 3 but I'll probably remember this one more but we'll see

In a way, season 1 seems to have ruined the show for everyone. But that will never be met again, for many reasons including the fact that their simply wasn't as many good shows out at around that time. Season 1 came out of nowhere and there wasn't anything really like it

Anyway, there is only one masterpiece of TV on at the moment - the latest season of Love Is Blind. Perfect reality TV (but season before was terrible)
