The Dynasty: New England Patriots, decent watch so far, if you liked The Last Dance this is something similar.

True Detective was achingly bad. It was a painful watch and that was mostly due to the pacing. Setting and actor were fine but Jesus the writing was something else.

At the risk of going full Barton, the male characters were all inept morons and it was a real women save the day.

Maybe making up for previous character portrayals but I thought it was terrible.

Anyone that’s seen the brilliant (Tyler?) Sheridan Wind River will have seen it coming and it’s a bit of a rip off.

Can’t help but feel the made a mess of a phenomenal cast and setting with a really neoign and predictable payoff.

Season 1 - best season of any TV show ever.

Season 2 - stemming pile of horse manure.

Season 3 - ok, enjoyed and was excellently acted.

Season 4 - fell into the Star Wars trope of fan service but then dreadful pacing and writing. So disappointed.

It was very meh and a waste of two excellent leads imo. It's irksome when writers become more obsessed with their message than their characters and story, especially when all the pieces are there to make something truly compelling
