TV Series

Just finished episode 4 of reindeer baby, wow. One of the darkest episodes of tv I have ever seen. Will finish the rest of the series tomorrow
Just finished episode 4 as well.

Thought him causally slipping his descent from a bit of weed and coke into weekend crack, meth and heroin binges with that fella was skipped over a bit quickly. There's a fair bit unspoken there I think.

Just finished up series one of Foundation, and on the whole it's very good.
It is one that you have to engage with, it's fairly complex and bounces around different time periods with characters coming and going (and characters who are different versions of themselves), and it's certainly epic in scale. Looks terrific as well.
The slight weak link is the cast, or at least some of them, and actually therein lies the problem. You've got really strong stuff from Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Laura Birn and Terence Mann, and unfortunately some of the younger cast don't quite cut through by comparison - not terrible by any means, just sometimes a bit Dr Who--ey.

But overall, well worth a look for some very well crafted, epic space opera with something between its ears.

Apple.

Mate season 2 is way better, really comes together. Proper space opera. It’s amazing.

Agree on the casting.
The way they work the emperor story into the time jumps is very good. He’s such a magnificent douche.
The scale and scope is as good as it gets for me.
