Yo bro.
Finished Fallout - thought it was excellent
Enjoyed the oddball way it was presented
Amazed at how good Fallout is. Superbly captures the gritty and wild universe the games are set in. Probably the best adaptation of a game series ever.
It is quite gory yeah.Any non-spoiler reviews? I see it's rated MA, is this for gore/language or what?
Mate season 2 is way better, really comes together. Proper space opera. It’s amazing.Just finished up series one of Foundation, and on the whole it's very good.
It is one that you have to engage with, it's fairly complex and bounces around different time periods with characters coming and going (and characters who are different versions of themselves), and it's certainly epic in scale. Looks terrific as well.
The slight weak link is the cast, or at least some of them, and actually therein lies the problem. You've got really strong stuff from Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Laura Birn and Terence Mann, and unfortunately some of the younger cast don't quite cut through by comparison - not terrible by any means, just sometimes a bit Dr Who--ey.
But overall, well worth a look for some very well crafted, epic space opera with something between its ears.
Apple.
