Fair enough, he's a scouser, was a half decent full back six years ago...who needs to win matches

Was called no good enough then as well. Good honest pro, sign of the times, youth academy success, never shirks a game or a challenge, cult figure, been a hell of a servant, great example to the youth setup to see how far they can go if they knuckle down and apply themselves. Having a squad might mean being a little rough around the edges, he stuck one on Balotelli yesterday and piped him all the way down. Balotelli only started the bully boy stuff when Browning got a run - but thats experience again. Hibbert will get a few games, obviously we all want Coleman back at full speed, but if we are to go far in the EL and keep on an even keel in the League then a bit of rotation and rest is required.

I was very impressed what I saw from Browning yesterday. I was slightly worried when he came on due to it being liverpool and thought it was a difficult game to try and show what is in you as player on a debut. He came through it with flying colours...and I thought we have found Coleman's backup for this season. It also says a lot that Rm had the confidence in him to bring him on in that game if you think about it. Although its early days, we might just have uncovered another gem for the future...time will tell but I have a very positive feeling regarding him from what i saw.

His lack of pace showed though. Sterling turned him inside out on several occasions.
Liked what I saw of Browning. Looked pacey, composed and unfazed by the pressure of the match. :)

Only a few times after the 60 minute mark. Which is why it made sense to put Browning on when he did. Other than when tired legs set in, Hibbo was fine.

In a few seasons time we could be starting a full England international back four - Browning, Stones, Galloway, Garbutt.

Seems like four defenders who train together in every area of their career would gel pretty nicely eh.

This. Also people forgetting how little match time Hibbo's had in the last couple of years.

That said, was obviously very impressed with Browning.
