Not once or twice, every step he made he checked to make sure who he was marking was where he thought he was. Good trait to have at a young age instead of trying to learn it.

i was making sure to pay attention to him and small when they came on and i noticed that, at first i went "ohh he seems nervously hesitant" and then when i realised his positioning was perfect i though hold on that was totally controlled actually
 
He had a decent game for the U23s tonight in their 4-2 win away to Leicester had a hand in the first two goals with a nice through pass to Broadhead who laid it off for Small to score , then won the ball in midfield to set up the attack for the second . That half was probably his best for the U23s this season , he faded a bit in the second half but was still holding his position well in the formation. It was a good game at U23s level for a 17 year old who’s still got things to learn .

Had another look at it and yeah that’s a fair point. Seb Quirk our no 4 was initially at fault but I see what you mean about when the ball broke to the Leicester player , could Onyango have been closer maybe? In fairness to him at the start of the move he was back in midfield and at least tracked back . But something to look at back at Finch Farm and learn from , he’s far from the finished product yet.
