Are you aware its a pre season game Ian?
Yes, thats why I initially made the point I thought it was telling that there was no Besic, when in truth if Koeman fancied him, this would be a gret opportunity to start him over Maccarthy, who many feel is the weak link, yet Koeman purchased Gueye. We shall see.

the more i watch rom, the more i reckon he could be replaced...more rounded target man bagging 15 a season would imo bring the best out of ross, geri and kev....
Now would you rather 60 goals from them 3 and a new striker or 40 odd with rom?

Coleman, Holgate and Steklenberg have been very good.

A few have done OK.

Stones poor, and the centre mid is non existent in regards to dictating the game.

Ronald will be having more sleepless nights if the club don't start making good on what they are supposed to deliver.

How can McCarthy get slated left and right and Barry get nothing? He didn't touch the ball the last 30 minutes of that half. Thought McCarthy has grown into the game some, everyone is tripping, Stones is giving United layups. Stekie, Holgate and Seamus look good though.

?
Barry had the ball alot the whole half. McCarthy on the other hand I did not see touch it once. Did u mix em up?

Neither McCarthy or Barry are necessarily bad players but a combination needs balance and that pairing has the worst balance since I tried to limbo dance after downing a pint of gin.

proper toothless in midfield. desperate for a real number ten (creative and can score) and also a big tough tackling midfielder.

hopefully davies will come on for mccarthy and show the others how to play with some passion
