As much as he's been good in the roles he's chosen, is there really any need for this?

What more could be done that wasn't done in the original?

The only thing that could be done, was to do a completely faithful remake of the book, with nothing cut out or sanitised.

Which would make it almost impossible to get an age classification certificate, due to the horrendous and graphic stuff that would go in.

If they were to do a full and proper film and left nothing out from the book and only released it in select / art house cinemas that would be a different thing all together.

It's was one of Christopher Ecclestons lines in the first one to observe the infected will sow no crops or form no societies, to last 28 years perhaps they have.

What do you reckon they’re growing?

I wonder who built that skull temple. I didn’t realise this but it’s actually going to be a 3 parter. Apparently the skull temple scene is from the 2nd film which is already filmed. I wonder if the zombies built that or one of the groups of humans

I find this scene really interesting. All the other figures are really agitated, the one I’ve circled is perfectly still though. Likes it’s weighing somebody up. It’s strange because if these are zombies they’re pretty reactive. For one to be standing still and observing is a little strange. I think these are either people or some of the zombies have evolved and that’s their leader
Maybe it is reminiscing about chopping down the Sycamore gap tree and is eye balling it's next target?

There’s only really the rat scene and the zoo scene with the kid thst I can remember from the book that wasn’t included. The kid scene would be bad but they could possibly just change that to an adult. If they’re faithful to the book it will be 6 hours long and 5 hours of it will just be Bateman talking through what everyone’s wearing

the bleakest thing in that entire 28 years later trailer is the opening shot of that grim looking housing estate.

Why as a country did we build such hideously bleak and depressing looking housing ? It’s a uniquely British look I
We continue to do it as well. New build housing estates and city centre apartments are completely grim and terribly put together.
