I used to have a mate who's parents were proper Woodstock hippies and his Dad used to get in from a days labour somewhere, sit by a real fire and skin up, it was odd.

Well quite easy really, Mac's dual boot ;0) so you can play games on them quite easily. The hardware is generally of a superior quality and more up to date, which means more hardcore gaming performance ;0)

Get one of those sexy Dual Xeon mac pro's with a beefy graphics card and you're away, oh wait what's that, you actually want a £300 computer which will give you sub par performance anyway...... rolls eyes and wonders where the gaming argument even comes from :blink:

My last mac was white, my new one is silver, my iPhone is black.

Don't make it a colour thing mate.

I choose Apple because they have given me better productivity, better stable environment, they inspire me, they give me the opportunity to work more efficiently, and more creatively.

I used PC's since Windows 3.1 to Windows XP. I chose Apple because of a number of reasons.

Ghost how could you forget your greatest Mac-ally in the war against boringness? The recent experience of my mac getting a bit damaged was not enough to turn me off, especially cos they were so great about getting it fixed (thanks for the tips from everyone in that other thread i'd created, i've been meaning to bump it to thank you all but right here should do i suppose)

i also found out that macbooks have a sensor inside that detects sudden motion and momentarily stops the harddrive when that happens to prevent damage, so even though I needed my mac fixed, it may have been much worse without that feature, and i wouldn't have been able to back up all my stuff.

as for this Army business, its about time they tapped into literally the biggest cash cow in the world. US military expenditures make up 41% of total world military expenditures, who wouldn't want to do business with them?
