, I've been mulling where the money for our signings have come from this year,(QUOTE)

Rooneys wages and other wages have been saved. We have spent around £60 million in transfer fees and recovered about £30 million for Klaasen and others. We also have a line of credit for £60 million from a Chinese Bank. We have plenty of money, we are just spending it wisely for once.

Not one to get too excited about stuff, but if he is going to join everton.. i expect it to happen fairly quickly i.e. tomorrow. Is there too many little bits adding up to usmanov joining?? Kenwright leaving rumours, stadium needing funding, etc. ? Anyone else reckon that planning permission has been passed in private (unofficially) and now is the time to rubber stamp the deal?

Other option is we dont see or hear from usmanov for a long while in the uk, but to me his persona has taken a knock with Kroenke ‘winning’ his shares.. the money is nothing to him but it makes him out to be the weaker man vs kroenke.Certinatly no smoke without fire and at the minute there is a hell of a lot of smoke

well done you, it was deliberate my friend.

So far though mate we needed to loose those wages with nothing to take on the liability just to be sustainable. With what looks like another three signings in the post. Ill have a look at it when the dust settles.

Has Kroenke won or has he let him win.. he tries before to buy Usmanov shares and he turned them down... so why now has he suddenly decided to sell..

Also they apparently hate each other so why would he give Kroenke what he wants

Exactly mate. To me he uses Kroenke’s cash to make everton better than arsenal and stick two fingers up at him

If Usmanov stays in the UK, it’s got to be Everton that he invests in. Look at the Evidence;

EFC is a sleeping giant and an ideal investment opportunity.
His best mate and former Arsenal partner is already the major shareholder.
He already sponsors the club - USM Finchfarm.
A brand new super stadium on the horizon.

This could have been the plan all along when Moshiri made the move to Everton.

I would be astounded if Usmanov invested in any other EPL team.

It does look that way. Potential wise if you compare us to the Geordies it's not even close. They have their 52K Stadium but it's very unlikely they will expand and that is all they have over us currently. West Ham may be one that he sees as attractive in the sense that they already have a new Stadium and are based in London but I still don't think it's likely he'd go there over us, especially with the Moshiri link.
