It's difficult to hold it all in when you've been saying this will happen for quite a while. Then the wheels start to turn and it finally looks to be happening right now. Even before today's shock news I was saying that it was looking more and more likely that he would come here, I don't have any information more than the obvious stuff that everyone can see.

yeah I may be prematurely celebrating but I genuinely cannot see another alternative for how this plays out. He has worked with Moshiri for years, trusts him and has bankrolled him. He has sponsored the training ground and wants control of a Premiership club. Forget the others, the Premiership is where the big cash is and will be for some time. if he wanted some foreign club then he could have bought one years ago.

We are an untapped resource, ripe for the picking. We have the greatest fans and the greatest history in the premiership. We are a club with nothing to be ashamed of, a club than can hold it's head up high. We need investment and then watch us go.

A new stadium, world class players and right in the heart of the city. Stand aside pretenders, the real football royalty are about to take the throne.
That’s beautiful man.

What is it? Isn't showing up for me. ;)

Everton FC Shareholders’ Association Statement Regarding the Ownership of Arsenal Football Club

The 7th of August 2018 may go down in the folklore of Arsenal Football Club as much as Everton’s move from Anfield in 1892; both events driven by an individual’s intent on taking their football club in a direction not supported by the majority.
Today Stan Kroenke, through his company KSE, has reached an agreement with Alisher Usmanov to take total ownership of Arsenal Football Club through the acquisition of his shareholding. Usmanov, despite a 30% holding in the club, has been unable to have any direct influence on any strategic or operational affairs at the club. In these circumstances one can understand why Usmanov might wish to sell his shares.
However, as a direct result of the acquisition of Usmanov’s shares Kroenke is also able to compulsory purchase the shares still in the hands of small shareholders, often held not for financial gain but to ensure that the club is accountable for its dealings both on and off the pitch.
The Arsenal Supporters Trust, of which some shareholders are members, see this as a “Dreadful day for Arsenal”.
In an age when fan ownership, or at the very least fan representation at board level, is very topical this is seen as a retrograde step.
The EFCSA acknowledges the disappointment of the small shareholders of Arsenal Football Club and hopes that going forward they may bring influence to bear in other ways.
The EFCSA will continue to strive to be the custodians of Everton Football Club to ensure it continues to act in a proper manner.
We are reassured that our major shareholder, Farhad Moshiri, has repeatedly said that he has no plans to dilute or undermine our position.

Honestly, knowing what we have all read and probably spent too much time researching since moshiri was originally linked with us, the sponsorship already of finch farm and today’s news this has a real feeling of inevitability about it... it could be an absolute game changer for us if it comes off, it really could.

What is their percentage these days? Moshiri and Usmanov could create a joint vehicle for ownership without diluting EFSCA, it would still leave them in control much the way that Arsenal operate ironically.

Even as token solidarity with the Arsenal shareholders it's a pointless statement 'unless' there is a deal on the horizon.E
