It doesn't make sense to me. At a time when Russian Oligarch's are doing their best to remove money from the UK after the fall out from the Skripal case and the US Sanctions. Why would Usmanov invest very publicly in Everton.

And as many as 9 Russian Oligarchs give generously to Boris ( even giving approx £130, 000 to play a tennis game with him) and the Tories. They're not going anywhere they've paid the piper they are calling the tune.
