Am I still going to have to hear about these dumb "trophy's" they won over the summer from the crowd that knows absolutely nothing?

I don't think they should count for anything really when we evaluate the coach. Pre-covid he started terribly. He played his best team against Mexico then ducked Mexico and everyone with a built in excuse of a b squad in a largely joke tournament and they won. I give them credit for it, but it didn't serve an actual purpose.

This team looked like crap in the second half. I don't know maybe the European based players could have used sometime together. I get it, it's tricky. I thought giving them some what of the summer off after the last year made sense.

Clearly it was wrong. We do have the benefit of hindsight.

McKennie out of the squad tonight for “violating team policy.” Wonder what he’s done. Also looks like Reyna tweaked his hamstring. Adam’s not starting but assume that’s just rest. Our midfield is vulnerable tonight. Luckily Canada’s isn’t any better.

Adams was awful in the second half. Buchanan was absolutely destroying him and that foul he took on the counter was sub worthy. I mean if you're gonna sit mckennie for God knows what, why aren't you subbing adams for making a stupid childish play on one of the only times you had numbers against Canada in their third on the counter.

Just an awful foul.

My thing is we have better talent. Canada have 3 or 4 guys capable of playing with our best. El Salvador have zero. We should be taking it to these teams. We’re not. It’s just poorly constructed, and no one has any ideas. The midfield and front 3 are disjointed. Tonight Lleget was the only one trying to link things up. God bless him but he’s not good enough to be the primary playmaker. Pulisic as the 10 next match.

I just really don't see the the talent everyone is talking about. Yea they are young and might get better but it won't be in time for 2022. You could clone Berhalter and have him manage both the 2008-10 team and todays squad and this year's team gets curbstomped.

I found it kind of funny that McKinnie broke covid protocol, meanwhile we scheduled a match in one of the covid capitials of the world.

Took over a years search to hire the COO's brother who managed hammerby and Columbus lol

Just doesn't know how to manage in game

Agreed. If we want to qualify, there's time. We've leaked some key points, true. But we have enough time to pull this one out, if we make a change in the very near future.

Berhalter is managing to mid-table mediocrity and that will not result in qualification. His brother is gone, which clears the way for a change. The only question on the table is who the next manager should be.
