I did not expect this tonight. They played excellent, Berhalter did an excellent job. Weah is looking to finally really put it all together, Musah who I have really high hopes for continues to play well. Thought Pepi was going to have to have a good game for them to have a good game, and they just played really well in a big game where he was nonexistent.

We played really well the second half, for some reason that has been our recent pattern. The atmosphere at the stadium was electrifying even at home, I loved the feeling of it. The ref was horrible but is there any good refs out there, really?

There are a few... but none in concacaf. Especially none we will see unless he's from like Canada or the Cayman islands. I would welcome any ref of African descent from any country honestly. I question where some of these guys heads are at they get.

That ref yesterday just looked like a head case from the jump with some of his interactions with players from both teams.

Well there is none in Conmebol either. Friday’s ref was bad, the Mexican players deserved a couple of cards that were not given. But Thursday ref in the Colombia vs Brazil match was even more awful. Neymar was aggressive, provocative and totally irreverent throughout the match and he got away with it while generating yellow cards for Colombia.

How was this confrontation was not a card still puzzles me.

What stadium was this game at ? I’m not sure how good Mexico are at the minute but that’s a great result
