Yeah I've seen him since Schalke, started off promising but honestly very meh in the end. He’s odd. Rated Adams ahead of him but then McKennie probably became our best player for about 18 months. Then he seemed to regress/become less interested. His next move is going to be critical for his career, and honestly I think it’s all just down to him and how much he wants to push himself.

Might there be posts in our past declaring Altidore on the cusp of greatness, urging the Everton to sign him?Jozy Altidore

I probably did. I was young and stupid at that time. Fortunately now I’m old and stupid.Might there be posts in our past declaring Altidore on the cusp of greatness, urging the Everton to sign him?
He's generally mediocre, kinda lousy on a bad fit of a club but could have a decent month or even season someday. We set the market for these players at about 30M, he might have been sold at a bit of a discount.I mean they didn't buy him but he's never been that good - he's athletic and has decent technique but never stood out as anything to me. Was so weird when Juventus bought him after the already weird loan lol

Discount Lukaku. Bullies players at a certain level, vanishes at levels above it. Lukaku's ceiling is much higher, of course.his club stats are wild

You have to respect how he told you exact what his level was and never pretended it was anything different.Discount Lukaku. Bullies players at a certain level, vanishes at levels above it. Lukaku's ceiling is much higher, of course.
I will never forget, as long as I live, David Hirshey writing that the surest way to get Altidore to miss was to give him a six-yard sitter in front of an open net.
Like Rom with his back to goal in a 1v1 w/ a (even really good) CB he can turn anyone and get a good shot on goal, it was the one thing he was always really good at. However when a D gives him more attn he really struggles. He always needed a forward who can pull a defender away.Discount Lukaku. Bullies players at a certain level, vanishes at levels above it.
