USMNT

He’s odd. Rated Adams ahead of him but then McKennie probably became our best player for about 18 months. Then he seemed to regress/become less interested. His next move is going to be critical for his career, and honestly I think it’s all just down to him and how much he wants to push himself.
Yeah I've seen him since Schalke, started off promising but honestly very meh in the end.

Hope he picks it up and goes back to showing promise really. Still young and good enough to be a solid option for a side not as crap as Leeds like

I mean they didn't buy him but he's never been that good - he's athletic and has decent technique but never stood out as anything to me. Was so weird when Juventus bought him after the already weird loan lol
He's generally mediocre, kinda lousy on a bad fit of a club but could have a decent month or even season someday. We set the market for these players at about 30M, he might have been sold at a bit of a discount.

Discount Lukaku. Bullies players at a certain level, vanishes at levels above it. Lukaku's ceiling is much higher, of course.

I will never forget, as long as I live, David Hirshey writing that the surest way to get Altidore to miss was to give him a six-yard sitter in front of an open net.

You have to respect how he told you exact what his level was and never pretended it was anything different.

Like Rom with his back to goal in a 1v1 w/ a (even really good) CB he can turn anyone and get a good shot on goal, it was the one thing he was always really good at. However when a D gives him more attn he really struggles. He always needed a forward who can pull a defender away.

The difference between the 2 is that when Rom was doubled he had pace to create shots.
