It was 80 degrees and super humid in San Jose when we lost to Costa Rica in qualifying. Four days later we dos-a-cero'd Mexico to qualify for the World Cup.

Manaus curses are for wimpy European teams.

I may have lit off a flair in my home and gone looking for foreigners to beat up, so I may have gone slightly ultra as well.

Even NASCAR Nation is cheering on the USMNT. And NASCAR fans. Footie has been gaining momentum here since '94, '02, and even after the horrible '06 Cup. I think we've passed the tipping point. I really do.
