VAR isn’t the issue, it’s the refs

VAR decisions being made lightning fast and accurately in the Euros

Scrapping VAR isn’t the solution, we need to do something about the cabal of crap referees that infest British football

The technology is not the enemy
The offsides are being dealt with much better in the Euros but I don’t recall any ‘complicated’ VAR decisions they had to deal with yet but you are correct in that the referees in the PL for sure are not up to the job

Always been the case.
This. Especially in the Prem - they're atrocious and it makes it tedious and boring.

Ridiculous that almost every other country has it figured out and it works fine and quick and as fair as possible, but the Prem, being the most widely covered and famous/moneyed-up league, can't because the refs are a separate organisation for no reason that do as they please.

The VAR calls given in favour of Madrid last season just looked like plain old corruption.

But I agree, it's hideously utilised in the UK (Scotland Prem, included).

It is the enemy, and ignores several of the issues to suggest otherwise.

Be better off if the VAR shaggers who cried about it coming in for years just admitted they were wrong

Or would it be better for the anti-VAR cry arses who have been against from the start because “it changes muh football” stopped trying to find reasons that they were right along and look at the situation with some balance?

Same can be said about the ones this seasons for the RS, United, Chelsea, etc.

Things that get given for them are never in 100 games given for us, especially judging by the fact we legit didn't get a pen in like 2 years or something daft.

Football is an entertainment industry, it's more entertaining without it.

You were wrong, and you will remain wrong.

No one being pro-VAR is wrong as the theoretical application is worth it to make it less biased. Being pro-Prem VAR is insanity or clear bias as your team gets calls, and you can hide behind "yeh but VAR reviewed it didn't they".

Correct solution, wrong application/environment.

A solution to a problem that didn't exist and creates more problems and reduces the key factor of sport. Entertainment.

Yeh forgot about how refereeing was always fair and always neutral, in the Prem especially, no problems there to fix.

Or the entertainment of decisions given to top 4/sky 6 and for no one else.

Did it fix it in the Prem? No, cuz you have an actual cartel running it. But it is a fix.

Agree and has been painfully obvious to most non-Brits I presume, but important to repeat again and again until the narrative changes. I get that some are against VAR in general, but there are two arguments that don't add up: (1) scrapping VAR doesn't allow anyone to go back to "the way it was before," that'll never happen; (2) scrapping VAR won't remove the errors because the errors are completely upon the people implementing VAR.
